Before we start to do labs and experiment with chemicals, we must learn about safety. There are many potential hazards when working with chemicals, but all of them can be avoided with appropriate safety precautions.

After reading the list of lab safety considerations, we made posters that demonstrate one of the considerations listed. I chose to make mine based off the one that says, "Be aware of the MSDS information regarding all of the chemicals that you are handling."
MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheet, it's produced by companies that manufacture hazardous substances. They provide workers and emergency personnel with procedures for handling a particular substance. The MSDS will provide data such as physical properties, toxicity, reactivity, etc.
I based my safety poster off MSDS and the necessary precaution that you need to know your MSDS's.
